Drawn to cameras for as long as he can remember, Tim would borrow his dad’s tape camcorder to shoot skate videos with friends as a kid, and by high school, he was the go-to person for filming and editing anything that needed a story. He studied audio engineering at university, but it was visual storytelling that pulled him in and after graduating, he jumped straight into the fast-paced world of broadcast news at Channel 9 in Australia.
After nearly seven years working in news and television, Tim developed a strong foundation in capturing stories under pressure, always looking for the human angle and learning how to work quickly without compromising on quality. Alongside that, he was freelancing, creating social-first content for a range of clients. He loves the variety in both news and social media and that he gets to combine creativity with problem-solving while meeting people from all walks of life.Since moving to London at the start of 2023, he’s gone all in on videography and editing working with brands like Renegade Brewery, Castle Pubs, and others in the hospitality space, and getting a few free pints we hope. He’s experienced in managing shoots end-to-end, from concept to final cut, and he’s already getting stuck in to life at Favola.
Outside of work, Tim is all about music, travel, and good food. DJing for fun, he loves catching live gigs, and there’s nothing better than a home-cooked meal shared over a board game with mates. We’ll be waiting for our invite, Tim.
