Back in September we announced that we had been selected to take part in the Autumn Cohort of the London & Partners’ Business Growth Programme.
The programme has been designed to help aspiring businesses grow and develop through a series of courses, talks and one-to-one mentoring.
We’re currently halfway thought the course and so I wanted to share the highlights so far.
To date, we’ve sat in sessions on sales pipeline, digital marketing, HR and people development, which have all been really positive and left us with plenty of ideas.
However, the biggest highlight has been the one-to-one mentor talk with Dan Sudron, founder of The Future Factory, an agency set up to help other agencies grow (and yes, I didn’t know that such a thing existed either).
From producing white papers to partnering with other agencies, networking to industry speaking events, Dan has given us a number of pointers to help us develop further. We only spent an hour with him, but felt that it was an extremely productive session and were left with many inspiring plans.
Coming up, we’re also due to meet with Wendy Read from HR Revolution and Nick Bourne to talk about processes. Plus, there’s a host of online talks, workshops and virtual conferences to attend (all virtually, of course).
The sessions have come at a great time for us, as we’re hard at work recruiting new staff, developing our portfolio and planning for 2021.
